 SALES
MARKETING & PR
Back to basics. - It's not rocket
science!
The objective of any firm is to
market and sell its products or services profitably. In order to achieve
this, a company needs to draw on a number of skill sets including Sales,
Marketing, Advertising and PR. Most companies have individuals on
staff who have experience in some of the above disciplines. However - few have
people who can provide extensive experience in all of these critical
areas.
Experience Matters.
Steve Kelly's strength (and advantage) is his "real world" experience. A
lifetime in information technology, commerce and broadcasting has enabled
him to visualise the "big picture" far more concisely than other individuals
who may be experienced in only a few of the above key disciplines.
Furthermore, Steve Kelly can provide these services on a contract basis, ensuring
that you only pay for what you need.
Sales & Marketing
Having spent over a decade as sales and
marketing manager with the CSL group (Europe's largest offshore computer
and IT providers), Steve Kelly understands the importance of
developing a successful sales strategy. Perhaps more importantly, Kelly understands how important it is to ensure that such a strategy does not
stand alone, but instead, integrates into the corporate business plan with
the appropriate execution steps.
As an independent sales and marketing
consultant Steve Kelly works with companies such as MPC Europe developing
business plans and successful sales and marketing strategies.
CTV - It's All About Strategy
Steve Kelly has little doubt that having the
right sales strategy was the key to his own success when in 1992 he launched Commercial Television & Video. CTV's remit was simple to operate
as an ENG agency while utilizing down time to produce commercial and training
videos. It was a success. Although he has now sold his interests in the
company CTV continues to be one of the largest offshore production
companies in Britain.
Sow It. Grow it. Then take it to
market!
In the mid nineties with CTV up and
running and with the aid of some very talented technical staff, Steve Kelly
launched
Manx Internet. Again the remit was simple, to act as a web portal and start
page for the local community while at the same time providing up market
website design and hosting. ManxNet.com became an instant success and in 1999
Steve Kelly sold the venture to a subsidiary of British Telecom plc.
